BBC Books, gelecek yıl Terrance Dicks‘in anısına tek ciltlik bir derleme yayınlama niyetinde. Sert kapak olacak bu özel ürünün, Terrance Dicks‘in 60 kitabı arasında, Doctor Who‘nun birçok efsanevi hikayesi de mevcut.

Mesela Abominable Snowmen ve Genesis of the Daleks kapışsa? The Planet of Spiders‘ı The Auton Invasion için geride bırakır mısınız? Peki ya The Three Doctors‘a ne olacak? O kadar efsane işler var ki kendileri seçemiyor ve hayranların fikirlerine ihtiyaçları var.

Terrance Dicks, 1968’de Doctor Who‘nun Senaryo Editörü olmuştu. Patrick Throughton‘ın son bölümü The War Games ve Jon Pertwee‘nin döneminden 1974’e  dek  dizide çalıştı. Tom Baker Dönemi‘nin ilk hikayesi olan Robot; Horror at Fang Rock (1977); State of Decay (1980) ve 20.yıl özel bölümü olan The Five Doctors (1983) yine Dicks imzalı bölümlerden.

Terrance Dicks Dünya Kupası, Doctor Who BBC Books‘un twitter hesabı olan (@DWBBCBooks) hesabında beş gün boyunca oylamaya açık olacak. Terrance Dicks‘in Doctor Who‘ya dair 64 romanı 4’erli 16 gruba ayrıldı. Her biri hayranların oylarıyla seçilecek. Sona kalan 10 roman ise çıkacak özel koleksiyon baskıda yer alma hakkı kazanmış olacak.
